William Diack (?1871-1942) was an author and journalist, associated with Aberdeen Free Press and Evening Gazette. He was involved in Labour and socialist circles and served as secretary of the Aberdeen Socialist Society. His publications include History of the Trades Council and the Trade Union Movement in Aberdeen (1939). To The Scottish Review, he supplied a number of articles on the Scottish economy, land issues, education, and other subjects.
