Thomas Gwynn Jones (10 October 1871, Betws-yn-Rhos – 7 March 1949, Aberystwyth) was a Welsh poet, author, scholar, translator, and journalist.
Some contributions were published under Jones’ own full name, but it is likely he was also using the penname ‘Fionn’ for some of his contributions in Alba in the 1920s. This cannot be Henry Whyte | Eanraig MacIlleBhàin, who was known as ‘Fionn’ and contributed to Erskine’s periodicals, as Whyte died in 1913, and the contributions in Alba concern current affairs, show a detailed awareness of Welsh (and Breton) affairs, and were written by someone likely based in Aberystwyth.
