Malcolm MacInnes | Calum MacAonghais (1871, Drumfearn, Sleat, Skye – 1951) was a poet, songwriter, scholar, and librettist. He worked as an advocate. Originally from Skye, he emigrated to South Africa. He is the author of Iseabail, a musical play which first appeared serialised in Am Bàrd and was published as a whole in 1933, featuring 33 original songs and melodies. His other publications include Mary, Queen of Scots: The Drama of Her Life (1926), Songs of the Isle of Skye (1931), and The Appin Murder: A Drama true to the Historical Records (1940).
