‘Loch-Aic’

A contributor using the penname ‘Loch-Aic’ (no confirmed dates) published three pieces in Am Bàrd. Two are retelling of folktales from Manx and Welsh, and one deals with the traditional way of counting sheep in Welsh. ‘Loch-Aic’ must therefore be somebody fluent in Gaelic with a command of Welsh and likely also Manx. A ‘Loch-Aic’ from Liverpool also sent a letter in Gaelic, discussing Highlanders and Gaelic in Liverpool, to the Oban Times which published it on 17 November 1900.
