Isobell Marchbank (29 December 1880, Newington, Edinburgh – 30 March 1963, Portobello, Edinburgh), who also published under the pseudonym ‘Tamar Faed’, was a poet who wrote in both English and Scots. Her poem ‘Hame’s Hame’ is the only poem in Scots which appeared in Erskine’s Guth na Bliadhna. It was set to music by Robert McLeod. Her ‘Mermaid’s Song’ was set by Cyril Scott (1879–1970) and ‘Rich Love’ by Herbert Matheson Goldstein (1883–1918).
