A prose tale by ‘I. D. M.’ (no confirmed dates) was published in An Sgeulaiche. Anne Loughran in her bibliography of the Gaelic literature from the Isle of Skye lists ‘I. D. M.’ but says she has not been able to identify the writer. She adds the following note about the story: ‘The story of Lachlann Mór MacFhionghuin, “Glagan Glùin,” of Suishnish, the first Skyeman to fish for herring with a net.’
